Is Kids Drop the same as a babysitter?
Yes. Kids Drop is our hourly babysitting service in Barcelona, also known as drop-in childcare or an hourly creche. The difference is that the babysitter does not come to your home or hotel: you bring your child to our centre in Les Corts, where they stay and play with qualified childcare staff for as long as you need, from one hour. You pay by the hour or with a prepaid pass.
From what age do you accept children?
We accept children from 1 to 8 years old. In some cases we can also look after 9-year-olds; just ask us.
Do I need to book or can I drop my child off without notice?
You can come without booking and leave your child right away, both on weekdays and at weekends. Even so, it is best to call us about 30 minutes before on +34 637 319 226. From Monday to Friday we almost always have space for Kids Drop. At weekends it is important to call, because there may be a birthday party and the space may be closed to the public. You can also book through the Kids & Kafé app.
How long can my child stay?
The service runs from 10:00 to 20:00 and your child can stay for as long as you need within those hours. If you need to leave them beyond 20:00, message us and we will find an alternative.
Do you feed the children?
Yes. We provide meals and an afternoon snack for the children who stay with us. Please let us know about any allergies or intolerances when you book.
Are the monitors qualified?
Yes. All our monitors are qualified and experienced in working with children. They are with the kids at all times.
How much does Kids Drop cost?
One hour costs 15€. There are also passes: 4 hours for 55€, 7 hours for 95€ and 10 hours for 140€. The second sibling gets 50% off.
Can I leave my child if I am visiting Barcelona?
Yes. Kids Drop is also designed for visiting families and tourists staying at hotels in Barcelona. We are at Carrer de Nicaragua 117, in Les Corts. You do not need to be a member or a regular customer.
